The EGM of abrdn Emerging Markets Equity Fund was held at 09.00am on Friday 11 September, during which a vote was held on the extraordinary resolution to merge the abrdn Emerging Markets Equity Fund into the abrdn Emerging Markets Income Equity Fund.
The required threshold of 75% of votes in favour of the extraordinary resolution was reached and therefore, the merger will be effective as of 12:01pm on Friday 09 October 2026.
