About Wrap
Below you’ll find a quick overview of Wrap and how to invest on the platform.
Risk warning
The value of your investments can go down as well as up and you may get back less than you paid in. Tax rules can always change in the future. Your own circumstances and where you live in the UK could have an impact on tax treatment.
How do I invest?
You invest your money by choosing one or more investment products that are available on the platform.
These products include the Individual Savings Accounts (ISAs), Personal Portfolio, Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP), and Bonds that are offered on the platform. Each product may be subject to different tax rules and investment limits set by the government.
And, with access to over 3000 funds from over 150 fund managers, you are able to build a portfolio of investments that works for you.

What is my Cash Account for?
Your account already has a Cash Account set up. It is not part of any of the products you hold on the platform. Its function is to provide a cash holding account where fees can be taken from.
It is also used when transferring money between products, for instance, if you were moving money from your personal portfolio into your Individual Savings Account (ISA), it would go into the Cash Account first.
Interest is paid on holdings within the Cash Account as well as any cash holdings within your products. For more information about charges and interest rates, please see our charges and interest rates page.
